First Date

In the beginning, Elina and Charlie went on a couple short and sweet dates. Both enjoyed each other’s company and contemplated whether it made sense to make their unofficial relationship official. Elina decided she did. Elina determined Charlie was a good man who cared for the people he loved deeply and was both silly and outgoing in a way she adored. To show Charlie how serious she was about her feelings, Elina and Autumn planned a date in Brant Berglin’s backyard.

They set up a sheet and projector to play a movie, prepared light snacks and drinks, and made the backyard more cozy with blankets, lights, canopy, and music. When the sun went down, Elina coaxed Charlie into Brant’s backyard by leading him outside with rose petals. Charlie was more than surprised, he was touched. He shared the biggest smile and danced with Elina to “At My Worst” by Pink Sweat$ and Kehlani. Then the two settled down to food and the movie “Hitch.”

Lots of cuddles and laughter later, Elina and Charlie were official. The date was May 20th, 2022. Two years later, nearly to the day, Charlie proposed to Elina in that very backyard and also with the help of Autumn.
